Wing Chun is a style of Kungfu known for its mathematical and chess-like combat efficiency, and is generally characterized by high stances and rapid short hitting. It is believed that the depth of this martial art originated from Ng Mui (a Buddhist nun associated with the Shaolin temple), whose knowledge was then passed to her female disciple Yim Wing Chun.

In this 2 hour course, we will establish a foundation in basic techniques and drills, inline with development of Qigong and internal force.

David Ko is an avid practitioner and instructor in Kungfu and Shaolin Cosmos Qigong. His entrance to the Chinese martial art world began in 1996, under the tutelage of Sifu Roy D. Anthony, in the tradition of the Moy Yat lineage of Wing Chun kungfu. Over the years, his knowledge-base expanded to embrace Chen style Taijiquan, then finally the Wahnam lineage of Shaolin kungfu, qigong and meditation headed by Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit.
