The Six Shaolin Virtues

The Shaolin Virtues are a set of six core principles and ideas that can be applied universally, whether at home, work, or school. These six Shaolin Virtues are briefly described below:

Shaolin Virtue of Focus To concentrate one’s energy on few things rather than many and to understand oneself
Shaolin Virtue of Perseverance To do one’s best at all times and to endure through problems and suffering
Shaolin Virtue of Strive To want to improve oneself
Shaolin Virtue of Respect To understand, apply, and/or challenge the rules of society, others, and oneself
Shaolin Virtue of Leadership To take initiative and be an example for the future of mankind
Shaolin Virtue of Compassion To actively reduce suffering of others
