Cultivating Wisdom at the Shaolin Retreat

Participants of “Part 1: Cultivating Wisdom” of the retreat learned and practiced ancient Shaolin meditation techniques as a means to empower oneself through the mind and body. Cultivating wisdom is about understanding oneself and experiencing clarity of perception by focusing the mind and cleansing the mind of clutter and conflicting knowledge.

Several people joined us for the meditation portion from Wednesday to Friday. The morning activities included sunrise qi gong, introduction to silent sitting meditation, walking meditation, breakfast, and more sitting meditation.

Meals included fresh vegetable skewers and fruits. After lunch, participants enjoyed the facilities and spelunking at the Warsaw Caves Conservation.

We hope you will join us next year!
